Flank Steak or Skirt Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. dark brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 lb. flank steak

OR

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp molasses
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. skirt steak

OR

  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. lime juice
  • 1/3 c. canola oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder

 

Steps:

  1. Combine marinade and let sit for 3 hours to overnight.
  2. Ideally, remove from fridge 30 mins prior to cooking
  3. Heat your skillet on high heat, then cook on each side for 4.5 mins for medium-well.
  4. Remove and let sit for a few mins. Cut against the grain at an angle into thin slices.
