Oven Roasted Green Beans

Original Recipe:



  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Coat green beans in olive oil and squeeze lemon halves over all of the beans. (Slice lemons and add to baking sheet if desired)
  3. Roast for 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until browned and almost tender.
  4. Optional: remove from oven, add garlic and roast until fragrant (~2 mins).
  5. Season with salt and pepper
